A fabulous night will be had by all! This event runs 6-9pm (contrary to the poster)
Winter Classes Begin at The Artery - "Dimming Daylight"
Whether it's the warm colors of falling leaves, or the cool colors of snow and ice, young artists will use the pallettes of the outdoors from fall into winter. Our exploration of the seasonal color wheel will include paint, collage and craft! The first classes will be taught by Mrs. Darby, with Mr. Abel planning on teaching later ones!
Still Life Drawing Sessions at the Main Street Gallery
Still Life Drawing sessions at the Main Street Gallery are a chance to practice one of the most basic skill of an artist - drawing. Artist Dave Rubin will mentor the sessions, participants should bring their own drawing materials.
$5 at the door.
This is a project of the KAAHC Program Development Committee.

BOOMbal is back in November!
On TUESDAYS:
November 11, 18, and 25
Learn to swing dance in 3 weeks
5:45 Doors open
6:00 - 6:45 Swing 1
6:50 - 7:30. Swing 2
Swing 1 is for brand new beginners to get you started and for experienced dancers who want to review the basics. Advanced dancers, never tire of the foundations!
Swing 1 class is pretty much the same each week, and is requisite for taking any other BOOMbal sessions.
Swing 2 introduces a new move with multiple resolutions each week. Each Is its own module so if you miss one week, you can still keep going! Must have Swing 1 basics

Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30pm
Held at the First United Methodist Church - 400 Main Street
The Winter Concerts will be:

Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, 7pm

Bring your ukulele and have some fun playing with the group.

After Hours Alaska
The wonderful Stephanie Patton hosts the show After Hours Alaska every Wednesday from 9pm-11pm on KRBD. You can find out more information here as she interview musicians on a weekly basis.
Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.
