A fabulous night will be had by all! This event runs 6-9pm (contrary to the poster)
Submission Deadline - Youth in Art Exhibit
Youth artists are invited to submit up to 2 works in any media.
Artists may choose to sell their work or not.
Artwork priced to sell must have contact information for payment.
25% commission on gallery sales applies.
All Artwork must be ready to hang or display.
This exhibit is open to Ketchikan Area, Prince of Wales, and
Metlakatla youth ages 4 to 20.
Winter Classes Begin at The Artery - "Thanksgiving Art Camp"
Whether it's the warm colors of falling leaves, or the cool colors of snow and ice, young artists will use the pallettes of the outdoors from fall into winter. Our exploration of the seasonal color wheel will include paint, collage and craft! The first classes will be taught by Mrs. Darby, with Mr. Abel planning on teaching later ones!

On TUESDAYS:
November 11, 18, and 25
Learn to swing dance in 3 weeks
5:45 Doors open
6:00 - 6:45 Swing 1
6:50 - 7:30. Swing 2
Swing 1 is for brand new beginners to get you started and for experienced dancers who want to review the basics. Advanced dancers, never tire of the foundations!
Swing 1 class is pretty much the same each week, and is requisite for taking any other BOOMbal sessions.
Swing 2 introduces a new move with multiple resolutions each week. Each Is its own module so if you miss one week, you can still keep going! Must have Swing 1 basics

Rainy Day Quilters Meeting!
We strive to promote cooperation and an exchange of ideas among those interested in or engaged in quilt making; to instruct members in methods and techniques and to inspire personal achievement; and to encourage and maintain high standards of design and technique in quilt making.
All levels of quilters are invited and encouraged to attend!
Ketchikan Community Chorus Rehearsal
Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30pm

Winter Arts Faire
The Winter Arts Faire, a program of the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council, begins the Friday after Thanksgiving with Opening Gala Reception. The Opening Gala includes a no host bar, live music, hors d'ouevres and the creations of over 60 artists!
The Faire continues Saturday and Sunday with free admission, artists booth, and food booths, holiday caroling, and perhaps a visitor from the North Pole!
Plan on getting all of your holiday shopping lists completed at the Winter Arts Faire!
Artists - applications for booths opens in the beginning of September.
