DAY & TIME: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesdays & Thursdays
COST: FREE, this class is free to all KIC Tribal members
and the general public
AGES: People of all ages are welcome, children must be
accompanied by a responsible adult

Southeast Alaska Discovery Center
The Southeast Alaska Discovery Center will be open Thursday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until October. The center will be open during these times as long as the community risk levels related to the pandemic allow for safe entry for visitors and employees. Unvaccinated visitors are requested to wear masks when entering the visitor center, and social distancing protocols will be in place throughout the lobby, exhibits, and theater.
The Discovery Center website will be updated on July 29
Marilyn Lee's solo exhibit "Portrait of Trees" opening reception will be on Friday, July 30 from 5-7 pm. The exhibit will be up until October.
Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

The Southeast Alaska Discovery Center will finally be OPEN on cruise ship days starting July 9 (8 am -4 pm). Open Thursday-Sunday starting July 29 - October 15th
