Annual Artists of Ketchikan Invitational Exhibit - Main Street Gallery
The Annual Artists of Ketchikan Invitational Exhibit brings artists from Ketchikan and the surrounding area in one breathtaking exhibit. Held through June and July this Main Street Gallery exhibit showcases this region's artistic and creative expertise.

Beginning/Intermediate Formline Design with David R. Boxley
Class time vary depending on day.
Scholarship available for Metlakatla Tribal Members.
This course is offered for UAS credit. For those who wish to pursue College Credit, SHI will pay the UAS $90 credit fee and provide support with submitting the UAS Registration form. Full participation is required.
All tools and supplies will be provided by SHI.
Please note that students may not take any supplies or class materials home until they have completed the course. Taking materials from class may result in a ban from future courses until the materials are returned or a fine is paid to compensate for the cost of the material.
This Formline class is offered by Sealaska Heritage Institute, and funded by the Alaska State TVEP grant with support from the University of Alaska Southeast.
To be eligible for this class, you must complete an application.

The String Beings perform during Music on the Dock
Always noon to 1pm, its a great opportunity to take your lunch outside, and hear great music performed by awesome local musicians!
Music on the Dock is a program of the City of Ketchikan administered by the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council.
The Ukelele Group
Bring your ukulele and have some fun playing with the group.
Meets on Wednesdays at 3:45pm at the Inn at Creek Street!

6PM opening with Shea Warren and Sophia Delgado performing live.
7PMish Buoy Daze gets their act together and cranks up the party to the max :)

Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.
If you would like your event to be aired in the Arts Report please let us know by the Thursday prior.

You’re Invited to Queer Prom 2025: Starry Night!
Join us on Saturday, June 21 at 8:00 PM at the Ted Ferry Civic Center for an evening filled with dancing, joy, and unforgettable memories. This year’s theme is Starry Night!
Everyone is welcome — come as you are or dress to dazzle! Want to match the theme? Think shimmering stars, deep galaxy hues, and celestial vibes! Wear midnight blues, cosmic silvers, glittery golds, or star-studded accessories.
DJ DankGrooves will be spinning your favorite hits from past and present so bring your energy and get ready to dance the night away with friends and loved ones.
This is your moment to celebrate, be yourself, and feel proud in a space that embraces you.
Ages 16+ Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.
