Attention Writers and Performers!
First City Players announces an open call for short, original performance works for the 3rd Annual Ward lake Theatre Walk. Performances must run no longer than five minutes and keep to PG-13 material. Pick one of several locations around ward lake for your piece or performance. Submit your idea to info@firstcityplayers.org by noon on Friday, August 29th.

Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

"Cherchez La Femme" by Elizabeth Belanger Exhibit
Cyrano's Art Gallery in Anchorage presents Cherchez La Femme by Elizabeth Belanger. The opening is August 5th from 5-7, this exhibit will run until August 28th on Thursdays and Fridays from 12-4p and during all performances.

Open House this coming Saturday, August 27th from 9:00am-1:00pm at KTB. You’ll have the opportunity to meet staff, see the space, and register for classes that begin on Monday, August 29th!
Guard Island Heritage Inc Frank Sinatra Tribute Dance Party
Guard Island Heritage, Inc., a local non-profit is LIGHTHOUSE fundraising with a Frank Sinatra Tribute, Las Vegas Themed Dance Party at the Ted Ferry Civic Center Saturday, August 27. Doors open at 6:45 PM. Music by Stephanie Patton Sextet & the Frank Sinatra Tribute BIG BAND. $25 theater seats,$120 table of 4, $240 table of 8. Bar by Creek St. Cabaret. Water and light snacks provided. Tickets by QR Code wherever you see our poster. UN-taken seats will be sold at the door beginning at 7:45 PM, so please arrive in a timely manner. Also please invite any friends, neighbors or business associates to join this event.
