BOOMbal Dance Classes at the Main Street Gallery!
Monday Nights October 3rd,10th,17th and 24th at 5:45 pm doors are open. Swing 2 6-6:45, Swing 4 6:55-7:25 pm. 
Two 4-week classes start in October. Swing 101 + Swing 2 for beginners Swing 4 for intermediates. $30/one 4-week class, $45/both classes. No partner needed, but reservation is required. Register via FB messenger @BOOMbal Dance Hall, mask are optional. 

Arts Report on KRBD

Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.
If you would like your event to be aired in the Arts Report please let us know by the Thursday prior.

BOOMbal Dancehall Swing Dance!

BOOMbal Dancehall is hosting a swing dance on Saturday the 29th
This will be the first dance we've had since the pandemic!
The dance is free for dancers attending October classes and $7 for any other dancers that want to join the fun.
Music will be a Dj'd mix of swing music from Golden Age, Electroswing, classic pop, and heavy on contemporary swing bands.
There is not instruction at this event, the evening is to practice and dance.
