KRBD Radio Show 105.3

Stories at Latitude 56* a program of the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council has branched out to the Radio!!! Do you have a story you would like to share? Have you always wanted to be on the air? This is a call to Ketchikan residents to share stories of their lives, lessons, and adventures on the RADIO! Jack Finnegan MC of Stories at Latitude 56* Story Slam will help get your stories recorded for a prerecorded KRBD radio show to be broadcast at 9:00 pm on the 3rd Saturdays of the month. Jack Finnegan will host this half-hour radio show introducing each story! The deadline to submit to "Stories at Latitude 56*: The Radio Edition" is the 14th of each month!

Arts Report on KRBD

Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

Jean Bartos is organizing with AML a group art pallet headed from Ketchikan to the Southeast Alaska State Fair in Haines! Meet at AML on July 15th at 1:00 pm to be included in the group shipment. AML will return items to Ketchikan when they will be placed in the Ketchikan Historical Museum's exhibit "Ketchikan Goes to the Fair!" If you would like to exhibit at the fair www.seakfair.org
