Celebration 2026 Native Market Application
Thank you for your interest in our upcoming Native Artist Market! The market is held in conjunction with SHI’s biennial Celebration event. Celebration will take place June 3-6 Juneau, Alaska. The market will begin June 4. SHI reserves the right to determine the final placement and location of vendors.
Market dates: June 4-6, 2026.
Notification Date: April 24, 2026
FEES: A $25 NON-REFUNDABLE application fee is due today (this application payment does not guarantee a vendor spot at Celebration). If selected, an additional $275 fee is due for the table. ELIGIBILITY
The artist must meet at least one of the following eligibility requirements:
- Alaska Natives
- Native Americans who are members of an Indian tribe or
- Alaska Native or Native American who are certified as an Indian Artisan by an Indian Tribe.
Artists must provide documents to prove that they are Alaska Native or Native American. Indian artisans must provide documentation from a tribal government certifying that the artist is endorsed as an Indian Artisan.
Market applicants must provide 3 photos of the kinds of work they intend to sell. All art sold at the Native Artist Market must be created 70% or more by hand. Participating Artists may not have had a violent crime conviction, within the last five years.
