Returning Booth Holders have until September 30th to apply and receive priority placement.
Booths are not reserved until payment is made!!! If you are a Returning Booth Holder we will call you ASAP after you apply to gather payment. New Applicants may apply now but will be placed after Setpamber 30th.
To participate in the Faire, booth holders must be Artist members or above of the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council.
Food booths will be open November 29th and 30th only. Set up times for food booths is abbreviated due to the Gala opening the evening prior. Food booths may set up Saturday morning 8am to 10am. HOWEVER, food vendors may prep your food booth Friday, November 28 from noon to 3pm. You may store food and some items in the kitchen and service hallway. This will be a shared space so you may not, under any circumstances, block usage of the kitchen appliances or completely fill up the refrigerator or freezer. If you have questions please call and we can strategize to make your participation easier.
Food permits are the responsibility of the booth holder and may be obtained from the Department of Environmental Conservation, 540 Water Street, Ketchikan, AK 99901. Telephone: 225-6200. The DEC has the authority to close down food booths that do not meet their requirements.
Food booths are $65.
Should you have to back out of Winter Arts Faire - KAAHC will refund your booth application fee up until October 31st. After October 31st no booth refunds will be given.
The Winter Arts Faire Set-Up Information for Food Booth Holders:
Spaces are located in the Civic Center lobby. Food booths will only be open November 29th and 30th.
TFCC will provide a 6x3 table for you. There are benches on 3 locations for booths. Electricity is available - you must bring your own cords.
Set up is Saturday, November 29th, from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Doors open to the public November 29th at 10:00 am. Please note, that booths remain set up through Sunday, November 30th, at 3:30 pm!!!! The Ted Ferry doors will be locked each night, and an evening breakdown of your booth is not necessary.
You may bring items for your booth to the TFCC Friday, November 28 from 12pm to 4pm and store them in the service hallway and the kitchen. Do not block appliances or walkways.
Winter Arts Faire Schedule for the Public:
Friday, November 28, 5:00 - 8:00 pm - Opening Gala Reception, $5 entrance fee
Saturday, November 29, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, November 30, 10:00 - 3:30 pm
Breakdown Information:
The breakdown is Sunday, November 30, from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm. It is each vendor's responsibility to clean their own space. Please leave your area as you found it. That means throwing away your trash, cleaning the area you used, and cleaning any utensils or equipment you borrow from the Ted Ferry Civic Center.
It is not permissible to begin the breakdown process before the Winter Arts Faire ends at 3:30 pm on Sunday.
Force Majeure:
If for any reason, present or future, by: statute, law, ordinance, regulation, order, judgment or decree, earthquake, flood, fire, pandemic, epidemic, disease, accident, explosion, causing any inability without fault on KAAHC's part to sufficiently hold the Winter Arts Faire, KAAHC may terminate registration without any liability for any damages arising from such termination.
In addition to the above circumstances, should any event displace the organization or render the organization unable to host the Winter Arts Faire, KAAHC shall not be under any obligation to present it at a different time.
Membership:
All booth holders must have a minimum membership level of Artist to participate in the Winter Arts Faire. Artist membership is an annual fee of $50. It does not renew automatically and can expire. If you wish to become a member at a higher rate, membership benefits and your support of KAAHC increases. If you do not know if you are a member, please call the KAAHC office at (907) 225-2211, and we will check your membership level!

Please note, placement is by order of application date so we may not be able to accommodate your expectations.
When we receive your application we will place you as close to your request as possible and then contact you for your booth payment. Your registrations for the Winter Arts Faire is not complete until you pay for your booth. Please note when is a good time to reach you and what phone number to use.
