2026 Blueberry Arts Festival Waitlist/Sublet Booth Application

As of June 1, 2026, 5:01pm we have put up the following "Waitlist/Sublet" form.

Continue to apply and you will be placed in the queue for a booth in the order of application!!!!

We did this in order to make sure we have all our returning booth holders placed, and the new applications processed before we continue to take your booth fees.

If you need to sublet your booth (that means you need a year off - but want to keep your booth space) you can apply via this application now. You must maintain your membership in order to sublet your booth. You may not sublet your booth for multiple years in a row.

Welcome to the Annual Blueberry Arts Festival Booth Waitlist/Sublet Application for Members! We are super excited for a great Festival this year. Let's celebrate with the best Blueberry Arts Festival ever! Thank you for being a proud member of the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council (KAAHC). It is because of members like you we can put on wonderful community-wide events like the Blueberry Arts Festival!  As a member of KAAHC, you automatically receive a discounted booth space.

Need to renew your membership? You can do that in this form! If you have questions pertaining to your membership feel free to call (907) 225-2211.

This year the 51st Annual Blueberry Arts Festival Artist Market will be back on Main Street, Dock Street, and Mission Street, Saturday, August 1st, from 10am to 5pm!

We have been working closely with the City of Ketchikan to keep Blueberry Arts Festival downtown. The City Parking lot above the Improved Order of Red Men building will be parking for your customers. The parking spaces in Whale Park will be set aside for handicap-accessible parking. We will have a walker and wheelchair loaner station available in front of the St John's parking lot on Mission Street.

ALL Booth spaces will be 10 x 10 and located outside (in the street).

  • Booths are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Booth holders will receive a Booth #, and a marketing packet. Please use the provided logos and information to share information on social marketing platforms such as Facebook or Instagram. Be a BBAF advocate!

Returning vendors who apply by 5:00pm, June 1, 2026 will be given priority booth placement. We will place the remaining applicants in order of the application date. Once all the booths are filled as described, remaining applicants will be put on a waiting list!

  • Participants may not sell, transfer, or switch Booth spaces.

  • Don't forget - a secret adjudicator roams the Festival grounds to select the Blueberriest Booth each year, and winners are given the Verushka Award and receive a free booth in the next year!

  • Each Booth will be located in the street, up against the curb. You must keep the sidewalk clear at all times! The sidewalk is for foot traffic; it is not for storage or selling and must be kept clear.

  • Banners, posters, boxes, totes, tables, and signs are allowed only within your own booth space exclusively.

  • With the exception of service animals, no live animals are allowed in your booth, including as prizes or giveaways.

ALL BOOTH HOLDERS:

The 51st Annual Blueberry Arts Festival Artist Market, Saturday August 1st, 2026 is an outdoor festival. We're excited to have the festival in the wind, rain, and beautiful sunshine!

Please, be prepared for the weather.

  • You may begin setting up at 6:00 am, Saturday morning, 8/1/2026. It is important to unload your vehicle without setting up, and to remove the vehicle from the street quickly. This reduces congestion, and allows other booth vendors to follow the same process. Once the vehicle is unloaded, park your car FAR AWAY, and then come back to your booth site to set up. All cars must be off the street by 8:00 am!

  • Streets will be closed to all traffic and parking at 8:00 am! All cars must be removed by this time.

  • Please be set up and ready by 10:00 am, Saturday, 8/1/2026.

  • We hope to have a free shuttle service running between the Plaza Mall and Blueberry Arts Festival, from 10:30 am - 4:00 pm. This shuttle is ADA accessible and is available to everyone.

  • We are requesting all booth holders make a conscious effort to reduce their plastic use. There should be no Styrofoam and NO balloons at the Festival this year. No bubble machines are allowed - they are not great for the environment and destructive for the artwork that may be next to you.

  • All Booths must stay open until 5:00 pm! You may not pack up early. It is not permissible to begin breakdown before the Festival ends at 5:00 pm! You will not be invited back if you pack up, or leave your booth before 5:00 pm! If there is an emergency, please let us know what is going on. We're here to help!

  • If you sell out of your inventory, Congratulations! However, your booth must remain open. Successful Vendors in years past have used this time to network, share business cards, sell gift certificates, display photo albums, and take orders. We appreciate your cooperation and encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to celebrate your success with everyone.

  • The streets will reopen for vendors only at 5:30 pm. This time block is designed to allow you to start pack up before you retrieve your vehicle. The street will be open for all vehicular traffic at 6pm.

  • KAAHC members will be able to pre-order t-shirts directly from the printing company. We will email 51st Annual Blueberry Arts Festival Logo T-shirt preorder information to all KAAHC members! We encourage all booth holders to purchase their T-shirts well in advance of the Festival. Wearing the shirt in your booth is an activity many vendors enjoy.

STAY POSITIVE! ENJOY THE DAY!

  • KAAHC reserves the right to ask you to remove items from your display or shut down your booth if we find items or attitudes to be inappropriate for this family-friendly, community arts festival.

  • KAAHC reserves the right to deny participation in any future KAAHC arts festivals.

  • The Blueberry Arts Festival LOGO and the words "51st Annual Blueberry Arts Festival" is copyrighted by the KAAHC. Do not incorporate the phrase or the logo into your artwork or booth design.

REMEMBER TO STAY POSITIVE and ENJOY THE DAY!!

I will bring everything I need for my Booth.
I understand there are no tables, table cloths, awnings, or chairs available.
I will be set up and ready to sell at 9:59am Saturday, August 1st, 2026
If I don't show up without letting KAAHC know in advance, I understand I will not be invited back.
I will stay open for the ENTIRE duration of the Festival!
I realize that closing my Booth early or leaving early jeopardizes the whole event.
If I sell out of my wares I will keep my Booth open. I can network, offer business cards, sell gift certificates, or take orders.
If I am sick, I will not attend the Festival. If I am prevented from attending I realize it is my responsibility to keep the Arts Council informed.
I will not use the words "51st Annual Blueberry Arts Festival" or the 51st Annual Blueberry Arts Festival Logo in my artwork or my Booth design.

Breakdown Information:

Beginning at 5pm Vendors may break down their booths and put materials and structures on the sidewalks so cars can pass easily. The streets will reopen at 5:30 pm for Vendors ONLY. Please be careful while navigating your car through the street. It has been a long day and everyone is tired! It is each Booth Holders' responsibility to clean their own space. All garbage must be in a dumpster or taken with you. Please do not leave piles. Please leave your area clean. The street will open to all vehicular traffic at 6pm. Go celebrate with family and friends!

If I pack up my booth early, I understand I will not be be able to participate in future Festivals.
I will clean my space at the end of the Festival, and throw all my trash away.
I will not leave all the cardboard I brought my products in for KAAHC volunteers to carry to the dumpster.
I will have fun and enjoy the spirit of the event!!!

PLEASE NOTE:

If KAAHC is suddenly unable to produce the Blueberry Arts Festival, all Booth Holders will be given the option to receive a refund, or to donate their Booth Fee to the KAAHC.

I understand if the Festival is cancelled because the City or the KAAHC does not think it can be done safely, I can donate my Booth fee to KAAHC or be refunded the Booth Fees.
