Rainy Day Quilters Meeting!
We strive to promote cooperation and an exchange of ideas among those interested in or engaged in quilt making; to instruct members in methods and techniques and to inspire personal achievement; and to encourage and maintain high standards of design and technique in quilt making.
All levels of quilters are invited and encouraged to attend!
Cruisin' Deep Time with Kirk Johnson and Ray Troll!!!!
Join Ketchikan artist Ray Troll and Smithsonian paleontologist Kirk Johnson on an ‘epoch’ journey through the deep history of the Earth. Experience this unique blend of science and art as Kirk and Ray share tales from their travels across North America. They have recorded and illustrated their adventures in three books: the newly published second edition of Cruisin’ the Fossil Freeway (2024), Cruisin’ the Fossil Coastline (2018) and the brand-new children’s book Alaska Dinosaurs, Mammoths and More (2025). They are presently working on a fossil atlas for the United States.

Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

Queer Social Hour - Ketchikan Pride Alliance
Island Music: Rachel and Keve
When not performing on Broadway, around NYC, or in various orchestras, Keve Wilson and Rachel Handman share a collaborative project showcasing their passion for music from around the world. They continue to transcend genres with unique and creative repertoire, weaving personal tales from their life-long friendship throughout their concerts. Guitarist Jacob Rothberg joins them for this event.
