Mission Street Local Arts Market - Driftwood Art class
Join local artist Julie Annis, owner of Alaska Timber Essential Oils, for a fun class that is open to the public. No experience necessary. Class is limited to 10 students. Cost is $30, including all supplies. To sign up call 907-617-3251, space is limited so call now. If the class does not fill by Sunday, walk-ins are welcome.

"Tongass to Tidewaters: Block Prints of SE Alaska" a solo exhibit by Rachelle Bonnett
Come out for the Opening Reception of "Tongass to Tidewaters: Block Prints of SE Alaska", a solo exhibit by Juneau artist Rachelle Bonnett. Rachelle uses printmaking, local charts, and watercolor to create her works for this exhibit.

Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

Every second Thursday of the month at 11:00am, First City Forum hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for a discussion about whats happening in the world of Art & Humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. Tune in monthly to KTKN AM 930. If you would like your event to be discussed in the show, please let us know by the Thursday prior.

Friday Night Insights - "Introduction to the Federal Subsistence Dashborad"
The Forest Service developed an online tool for the public to consolidate data from hard-to-find
locations, transcripts, and technical reports in an accessible, easy-to-use format. People can now access
Sockeye Salmon harvest and escapement data, wildlife in-season management actions, regulatory maps,
and downloadable game management unit maps from a single site. This presentation will be a tutorial
of the new dashboard and provide an opportunity for the subsistence staff to hear feedback.
