2021-2022 Gallery Call for Juneau Arts and Humanities Council
The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council is now accepting exhibition proposals for the upcoming Gallery Season running October 2021 through September 2022:
Individual artists, organizations, and groups are eligible to apply. Selected applicants will display their work for approximately one month at the JACC, approximately two months in the Davis Gallery at Centennial Hall, or virtually, with an opening reception on First Friday. The Arts Council Gallery Program supports both established and emerging Alaskan artists showcasing new works while representing the broadest spectrum of visual art media.

to the concept of the breastfeeding experience.

Marilyn Lee at the Discovery Center
Artist Marilyn Lee will exhibit at the Southeast Alaska Discovery Season with an exhibit of charcoal and graphite studies of trees on local Ketchikan trails. You can enjoy the exhibit while visiting the Discovery Center.
The Southeast Alaska Discovery Center will finally be OPEN on cruise ship days starting July 9 (8 am -4 pm). Open Thursday-Sunday starting July 29 - October 15th

Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.
