Re-centering Indigenous place names on the map reassert the continued presence and sovereignty of Indigenous Peoples. Join Curator of Exhibits Ryan McHale and Graduate Student Brandon Castle (University of Washington, Museology) as they present Mapping the Landscape, a new exhibit at the Totem Heritage Center during this virtual Museum Midday

Ketchikan Community Chorus

Following their previous safety protocols and having in-person and zoom meetings/rehearsals every week. If the community risk level increases they will switch to Zoom rehearsals only.

Practicing the Messiah, Judi Green will be the accompanist for rehearsals this spring.

Walter Harper Project Call to Artists

CALL FOR ARTISTS: The Walter Harper Project team wishes to commission and install a life-sized, or larger than life, bronze statue of Walter Harper, which will be installed on the riverside grounds of Doyon, Ltd. in downtown Fairbanks. The vision is for a signature artwork of exceptional quality and enduring value to honor the heritage and accomplishments of this individual, and to inspire Alaskans and visitors alike.
The deadline has been extended to January 15, 2021

"The Last 5 Years" (In-Person & Online)
First City Players Fall musical starring Kyle Bailey and Jillian Polluck. Is a two-person musical that depicts a young couple over the course of their relationship and marriage where the man's (Jamie) perspective moves forward through time and the woman's (Kathy) starts at the end of the relationship and moves backward. Seating is limited and will be socially distanced by household and/or social circle, tickets will ONLY be available for purchase in person or over the phone! **Please keep in mind, performances are subject to ruling by the EOC and may be rescheduled (in which case, tickets are fully refundable)**
Streaming performances will be available after the in-person show closes, more info to come!
