Blueberry Arts Festival Art Exhibit
The "Blueberry Arts Festival Art Exhibit" runs through August. This annual open-call exhibit features new works from the whole community working in any medium. We accept art submissions from July 20th through July 24th! We never know who will participate or what will come through the door that week! It is always diverse, colorful and interesting! Come enjoy this amazing exhibit!

Innovate Artist Grant
Innovate Grants – Call for Artists & Photographers
Innovate Grant is now accepting submissions for the Summer 2020 Cycle. Innovate Grant awards (2) $550.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition to receiving a grant award, winners will be featured and recognized on their website and will join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists.
How to Apply:
$25 application fee, submit 3-5 images! Visual Artists and Photographers 18 years and older, from all around the world, are eligible to apply. All media and genres are accepted. All applicants retain the right to the work they submit.
Rainy Day Quilt Guild Monthly Meeting
This meeting is the Rainy Day Quilt guild is a monthly meeting. The group meets in the basement room of the church beginning at 6:30pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
100 x 100 Call to Artist Deadline
Calling all Artists!!! Come one come all! The Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council will celebrate 50 years of service to the Ketchikan community as a 501c3 in September! We are bringing back the 100X100 fundraising exhibit from 2009 to kick off a year of celebrations! The exhibit will feature 100 pieces of artwork by local artists for $100 each. Proceeds will support the Arts Council's endowment fund to help sustain the organization for another 50 years and beyond! Artists are invited to create up to two pieces of art for this exhibit!
Deadline for submissions is August 28th at 5:00 pm.
West High School / Romig Middle School Library Renovation Call For Public Art
Project: West High School / Romig Middle School Library Renovation

Amount of Commission: $97,500 total; $65,000 Location 1, $32,500 location 2
Eligibility: National Call
The art selection jury intends to commission two complementary installations totaling $97,500 to be permanently installed at two different locations within the indoor atrium area located just outside of the renovated school library. West High School and Romig Middle School are the only combined school in Anchorage, and the renovated library is the largest school library in the state of Alaska. The two schools are joined at the shared library and common area where the artwork is to be installed.
