The exhibit for the photographic journey, "exhale. click. release. Meditations with Camera " by Brooke Ratzat.
Brooke's images will bring you along for a meditative walk through nature. Her up-close photography printed on art paper will transport you to another place and time, through three distinct local trails. Enjoy the video "walk" through of her exhibit brought to you by KPU. Enjoy viewing her prints on our website.

Blueberry T-Shirt Logo Contest

This year’s design should celebrate 45 years of the festival, and all things Blueberry! The Ketchikan Area Arts & Humanities Council invites you to submit up to two designs for the 2020 Blueberry Arts Festival logo. The logo is featured on the Blueberry Arts Festival T-shirts which are cherished mementos from each year’s Festival. Your artwork will be worn by hundreds of Ketchikanites, will travel the world with our summer visitors, and be featured on all Festival publicity! Entries are due to Katy by 5:00 pm, Monday, April 6, 2020.

The ARTery Art Straight from the Heart

This KAAHC Program has been Canceled! Studies in Macro! Instructor Loren McCue for ages 1st through 6th. Take a closer look at the still life around you. Students explore multiple different mediums while studying still-life up close and personal. Get into the details. Six Saturday classes culminate in an art reception at Loren's studio, The Artery during the Celebration of the Sea Art Walk, May 1st.

Join us for an inspiring performance!!! Ten of Ketchikan's practiced storytellers will share their craft by depicting stories that describe Ketchikan as "Home!" For the 2020 Stories@Latitude 56, a production of the KAAHC, Jack Finnegan will host ten individuals that will tell their stories about why Ketchikan is, or how Ketchikan became, "Home".
$10 at the door.
