Ketchikan at the Fair
A temporary exhibit of Ketchikan artists featured in the 2019 Southeast Alaska State Fair.
Eighteen artists and crafters submitted fourty-one items to the Southeast Alaska State Fair in Haines, held July 25-28. A selection of Ketchikan’s creations will be on display at the Tongass Historical Museum from August 15-September 3, 2019, and will have you feeling hometown pride!
Entries include hand-turned wooden bowls, quilts, crocheted, knitted, and handwoven items... the eclectic variety of submissions shows the talent in our town, and took home some top awards!

The opening reception for Cammie May a fresh and inspiring artist from Craig, Alaska! Come discover her new painting and drawing combinations, inspired by the magic of Southeast Alaska, full of color, detail, and wonder.

"Lucidity" a Solo Exhibit by Cammie May at the Main Street Gallery
New painting and drawing combinations from artist Cammie May, inspired by the magic of Southeast Alaska, full of color, detail, and wonder.
The exhibit runs September 6th - September 27th..
Artist Presentation Cammie May
For her artist presentation, Cammie May will have a few items from her collections from nature to demonstrate how she makes her beautiful mushroom spore prints, as well as lichen, seaweed, etc. She will show examples of how to incorporate those natural aspects into your own pieces, and explain her process. There will be a PowerPoint presentation and hands-on demonstration. Supplies will be provided for participants to create their own art along with Cammie May.
Artist presentations are always Free and open to the public!
Dave and Hannah
Dave Rubin and Hannah Karrick play a beautiful duet of guitar and violin. Enjoy their music at dinner or with cocktails.
