WHAT IS GIGGLEFEET?
The Gigglefeet Dance Festival is a community celebration of dance co-sponsored by the First City Players, Ketchikan Area Arts & Humanities Council, and Ketchikan Theatre Ballet. The mission of the Festival is to strengthen the dance community by:
Providing performance opportunities for both emerging and established dancers, choreographers, and technical theatre personnel in the greater Ketchikan area;
Providing a venue for the works of adult dancers and choreographers;
Providing a supportive environment for a diversity of dance forms, including works that are provocative and challenging;
Encouraging participation and appreciation of dance, for artists and audiences alike, by presenting a broad variety of dance forms.

The Gigglefeet Dance Committee reserves the right to exclude work that is not choreographed by the Tech Rehearsal on July 25 for safety concerns or inadequate preparation.
Provocative and/or challenging art, dance forms of all types are welcome.
Gigglefeet is open to all dancers, choreographers, and tech personnel of all styles.
While dancers of all ages are welcome, parents should be advised of mature dance styles and themes.
You may choreograph or dance in as many pieces as you wish.
In an effort to accommodate artistic expression and the audience, we will limit the number of pieces that exceed 5 minutes, and strongly suggest that longer pieces be registered as early as possible.
All dancers are expected to perform in both performances, Friday, August 3 and Sunday, August 5, 2018, 7:30pm at Ketchikan High School Auditorium. ALL DANCERS MUST ARRIVE BY 7:00pm! Order of performance will be determined by the Gigglefeet Committee to provide the most impactful experience for the audience.
