The Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council is dedicated to offering accessible art classes taught by local artists. Artists share their passion and expertise with community members and further develop their artistry and their teaching skills!

Arts Uncorked classes are designed for adults to have an evening out with friends and to enjoy learning and practicing a wide variety of art forms. smART Classes for Youth are held Saturday mornings for students in 1st grade through 12th grade. In 2019-2020 the Arts Council is thrilled to partner with Loren McCue and will hold classes in Loren's new shop, The ARTery on Creek Street above the Star Building. Loren will be teaching Batik and Tye-dye in the Fall and studies in Macro for the Spring. Click HERE for more information and to register for smART Classes.
