COV-Aid 2021 at the 46th Annual Blueberry Arts Festival
COV-Aid 2021, produced by the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council and sponsored by CHARR and the Greater Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce, is setting out to raise funds for small local Ketchikan businesses that have been acutely negatively affected by disruption due to the pandemic.
Hosted by Diane Slagle, musicians, dancers, actors, storytellers and poets will take to the Blueberry Mainstage during the 46th Annual Blueberry Arts Festival Saturday, August 7th from 10am to 5pm. Community members will be able to donate to local businesses during COV-Aid and until August 16th at the Arts Council. All funds raised will be distributed equally to all applicants.
Businesses must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
- Businesses must have been active on or before January 1, 2020
- Businesses must be a year-round, Ketchikan owned business
- Businesses must have fewer than 10 employees (Including independent, contract, and gig workers)
- Business revenue has been acutely negatively affected by disruption due to the global pandemic
