The mission of the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council is to create and promote opportunities to experience the arts and explore the humanities. One of the most important ways we do that is by assisting and supporting artists in their journey to create and grow.
KAAHC has partnered with Firespring, a website company whose main focus is to create websites for nonprofits, and the Alaska State Council on the Arts Adaptation and Innovation grant to make this opportunity available for artists in the Ketchikan Area. Ten websites will be create for ten selected artists. You will have the ability to create your own content, add your own colors, fonts, and images, and you will be able to sell your work through your website. In addition to setting up your initial content on your site, Firespring offers online tutorials, friendly phone tech support, and they continuously update and maintain the site mechanics.
