 cation\, leadership\, and community service.\n\nDelores and Mary have each
  played an instrumental role in shaping Ketchikan into the vibrant and res
 ilient community it is today. They have shown what it means to lead with g
 race\, compassion\, and a steadfast commitment to others.\n\n“Delores and 
 Mary represent the very best of Ketchikan\,” said the Chamber’s President\
 , Trevor Shaw. “They have given so much of their time\, energy\, and love 
 to this town. Naming them Grand Marshals is a celebration of their incredi
 ble impact—and a thank-you from a community that deeply appreciates them.”
 \nThis year’s parade theme\, “A Wonderland of Opportunity\,” highlights th
 e creativity\, resourcefulness\, and boundless potential found in our corn
 er of Alaska. As Grand Marshals\, Delores and Mary perfectly represent the
  spirit of possibility and the strong foundation upon which new opportunit
 ies are built both locally and globally.\n\nThe Ketchikan 4th of July Para
 de will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday\, July 4\, 2025\, winding its way thr
 ough downtown with a dazzling display of floats\, local groups\, and homet
 own pride. Parade participants\, volunteers\, and spectators are invited t
 o celebrate the day and also honor two of Ketchikan’s finest.
