 g Alaskan artists showcasing new works\, while representing the broadest s
 pectrum of visual art media. Individuals\, groups\, and organizations are 
 invited to apply\; preference will be given to\napplicants currently livin
 g in Alaska. Selected artists will display their work for the duration of 
 one month at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center (JACC) Gallery with an openi
 ng reception during First Friday\, or the duration of approximately three 
 months at the Davis Gallery in Centennial Hall\, with an opening reception
  on the First Friday of the artist’s choice.\n\nThe Juneau Arts & Humaniti
 es Council welcomes original artwork created within the last three years a
 nd not previously exhibited in Juneau. Artists who have been awarded a sol
 o exhibition in the JAHC Gallery Program should wait two years after the d
 ate of their exhibition to apply again. Artwork should not violate city\, 
 state\, or federal laws\, or endanger viewers. Applicants who propose to e
 xhibit all new works may provide a sample of current work\, sketches\, dra
 fts\, or photographs that best illustrate the proposal.\n\nExhibition prop
 osals must include the following:\n\n● Your contact information\n● Artist 
 statement & bio\n● Artist resume\n● Exhibit proposal\n● Five high-quality 
 images of your work with descriptions (including title\, medium\, year com
 pleted\, dimensions\, etc.)\n● Any interest in offering an educational com
 ponent such as a workshop\, demonstration\, or lecture\n\nAn application f
 ee of $40 will be charged to applicants and will be applied to a year-long
  JAHC\nmembership. If you are already a member in good standing\, your app
 lication fee will be waived.\nApplicants who may be experiencing financial
  hardship are encouraged to inquire about a scholarship.\n\nSubmit a propo

 JAHC Board of Trustees\, the JAHC Gallery Manager\, and community liaisons
  who may be local artists\, educators\, arts and nonprofit affiliates\, ga
 llery or museum professionals\, or cultural advocates.\n\nThe JAHC encoura
 ges artists to consider applying for an Individual Artist Grant to support
  their efforts in producing works and preparing for an exhibition. This pr
