 upport and extend partnerships\, advancing creativity as a core civic valu
 e and identity for Alaska. The implementation of this grant program\, at t
 his time\, is intended as a response to the ongoing challenges faced by th
 e creative sector in Alaska related to infrastructure\, economics\, and re
 covery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Our nation’s arts sector has been among
  the hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic\, and this grant program is one 
 strategy for support to the arts sector\, and for helping our communities 
 heal\, unite and rebuild our connections.\n\nThe Alaska State Council on t
 he Arts (ASCA)\, with support from Rasmuson Foundation and the National En
 dowment for the Arts\, has opened the Community Arts Partnership grant pro
 gram for two rounds of funding for spring and fall of 2022. Community Arts
  Partnership activities for these two rounds of funding will be completed 
 by June 30\, 2023.
