 orary works of visual art for its permanent collection with the support of
  the Alaska Art Fund. Living Alaskan artists are invited to propose works 
 made within the past five years or to propose the commission of a future w
 ork. Specifically\, we seek pieces that:\n\nReflect the identity and exper
 iences of contemporary Alutiiq people\; or\n\nReflect the historic forces 
 that have shaped the Alutiiq community (e.g.\, blood quantum law\, educati
 on\, epidemics\, land claims\, medical care\, natural resources management
 \, politics\, repatriation\, etc.).\n\nEach artist may submit up to five e
 ntries for consideration. We are looking for works that can be shared in t
 he museum's renovated facilities and redesigned exhibits.
