  of art to explore the challenges and triumphs of foster care. An installa
 tion of life-sized\, mixed-medium sculptures\, the artist created to be th
 ought-provoking as it presents the unique realities of foster care. Thank 
 you to the Alaska Humanities Forum\, Alaska Children's Trust\, the Rasmuso
 n Foundation\, and Alaska Airlines for your contributions to this exhibit.
  The exhibition is intended to be experienced in person and encourages the
  viewer to walk through some of the realities of foster children\, and inv
 ites the viewer to share stories of their own experiences. \nOpen to the p

 7:30 pm Doors open at 5:30 pm \nA conversation to discuss the Foster Care 
 situation in Ketchikan. This is a project in collaboration with the Ketchi
 kan Indian Community and the Alaska Humanities Forum. The Community Conver
 sation hopes to answer the leading question\, 'How can we ensure that all 
 our children thrive\, including and especially our most vulnerable?”\nThe 
 conversation will open with a short performance staged by Keith Smith.\nAl
 l community members are encouraged to attend\, share stories and ideas\, m
 eet advocates\, gain insight\, ask questions\, and learn more about Foster
  Care realities in Ketchikan in hopes to bring about change.. Free and ope
