 s artists and artisans from Alaska to submit for review digital images of 
 their work for possible solo\, group\, or curated exhibitions in the Bear 
 Gallery for the year 2021. Every month\, the Bear Gallery shows two fine a
 rts exhibitions by Alaskan artists / artist groups working in a variety of
  media to local and out-of-town visitors of Fairbanks. Portfolios are revi
 ewed by a panel of professional Alaskan artists and are chosen solely on t
 he merit of the work samples entered.\n\nPortfolios may propose the follow
 ing type of exhibitions: \n\nSolo Exhibit: One Artist \nGroup: Separate wo
 rks of two or more artists \nCurated: Curator selects theme\, conceptual f
 ocus\, and included artwork.\n\nEligibility\nThis call is open to resident
 s of Alaska ages 18 or older. An individual artist may have a solo exhibit
  in the Bear Gallery once every four years. Artists who have had a solo ex
 hibition prior to 2017 are eligible for consideration this year (curated e
 xhibits are not subject to this policy). \n\nNOTE: Artists may submit only
  one solo proposal. Group proposals consisting of a juried component\, a c
 all for entry\, or an exhibit entry fee cannot be submitted for portfolio 
 review. Curated and Group exhibits must have an organizing representative.
 \n\nThe submission deadline is October 31\, 2019\, 11:59pm MST.
