  order to create original designs. Jackson’s knowledge of design and carvi
 ng began with Nathan Jackson\, and was guided by instructors and artists f
 rom Alaska to New York. Drawing from fluency and articulation in formline 
 concepts\, he works in a continuum that has always dissolved boundaries.
