Create your
own design, themed “The Salmon Run,” and paint it for display all over
Ketchikan… on a bus! The
Ketchikan Borough is seeking an artist or team of artists to carry out the
design and hand-painting or wrap of a design on the exterior of a Downtown
Shuttle Bus (Gillig 35) which will be themed “The Salmon Run.” To receive the
Request for Proposals (RFP) contract, call 907-228-6637, Office of the Borough
Manager, Ketchikan Gateway Borough. Requests may be faxed to 907-247-6684 or
the entire RFP can be downloaded from the Borough’s website at www.borough.ketchikan.ak.us. Those

Failure to register can result in a proposal being deemed non-responsive. To be
considered, a complete design proposal and price package in the format requested must be
received at the Office of the Borough

submit a cover letter describing your design and project, a resume or brief
history of experience, proposed design shown from several angles, documented
proof of experience hand-painting Southeast Alaskan themes as well as
hand-painting art on vehicles, marine vessels or airplanes, and a detailed
budget.
