Local watercolorist and collage artist Kate Vikstrom will present a new series of work entitled Arias, combining her own recycled watercolor paintings and sheet music and featuring portraits, interiors and nudes.  The premise of the work revolves around the interplay of musical notation and visual vocabulary to create works that are well composed, lighthearted, playful and whimsical.

The opening reception for Arias will coincide with the Celebration of the Sea Art Walk.
