Nathan Williams and his Zydeco Cha Chas play the fast and furious accordion-driven dance music of the Creole people of southwestern Louisiana. With their trademark rubboard percussion, electric guitars and R&B influences, Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas make a distinctive Caribbean lilt that reaches back to the very beginnings of Creole culture in Louisiana. Choose between two dates for a great night out- fabulous Zydeco music and dancing, a no-host bar, and a traditional Creole cuisine by the Cape Fox Lodge at the Ted Ferry Civic Center on Saturday, or a performance at the Kayhi Auditorium Sunday evening. Dance workshops will be offered prior to the performances, stay tuned for details.
