Ketchikan's annual Winter Art Walk

This festive art walk features local area artists and galleries just in time for the holiday season.  A number of galleries participate in this event, many hosting with food and beverages.  Held from 5pm - 8pm, participants can seek refuge from the cold winter evening within the warm, holiday filled galleries of downtown Ketchikan. Art Walk maps can be picked up at The Arts Council or any of the participating galleries.

Authors from the 2006-2007 edition of Inside Passages, Ketchikan's own literary journal, will be reading selections of their work every half-hour on the half-hour throughout Art Walk night. Join us as we celebrate our local visual and literary traditions over light refreshments with friends to kick off the winter season.

These walks draw special attention to visual art and artists living in the Ketchikan area, as well as introduce the community to visiting artists and different visual art forms. They also demonstrate how integral arts are to the town’s economic identity.
