ARTSCool Visual and Performing Arts Camp, a collaborative project between the First City Players and the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, has grown and developed significantly since it began in 1998 with 35 or so participants in four classes. Since 2002, the Camp has been located in Ketchikan High School and offers a variety of classes for ages 6- 16. The scholarship fund has continued to attract donations from corporate sponsors and from individuals. We firmly believe that no child shoule be denied access to the arts because of financial restraints. Within the summer program, students receive a variety of arts instruction; including painting, drawing, collage, ceramics, sculpture, music, dance, theatre, video, illustration, and many other disciplines from professional artists, arts educators, and visiting instructors.  ARTSCool culminates with a visual art exhibition and theatrical performance onstage at the high school.

Please contact the First City Players if you would like for information on ARTSCool or to register.
