Tomáš Kubínek and his flying trick The solo perfromances of the Czechoslovakian-born and Canadian-raised Tomáš Kubínek (toh-MAWSH koo-BEE-neck) are as dynamic, zany, and unique as one might expect from a man smitten with the circus at age 5. Tomáš' work has developed into a diverse ensemble of comedy, vaudeville, and musical theater filled to the brim with charm and delight. The one-man extravaganza of sweet absurdity is sure to inspire giggles and mazement from the youngest to eldest audience. Santa Fe Reporter writes, "Masterfully played comedy...that secret mixture of daring, talent, and utter foolishness." For a great preview of what he will be showcasing in Ketchikan, visit his website. Only then can you get a real feel of what this "certified lunatic" has to offer. |
