Calling all Dancers and Choreographers!!!

The Gigglefeet Dance Festival Committee invites dancers, choreographers, and tech personnel to participate in the 12th annual Festival. All styles of performance-quality dance are encouraged. Members of the Gigglefeet Committee are available to assist you as you develop your piece. Members of the committee will also pair dancers with choreographers if desired.

The Gigglefeet Mission:
The Gigglefeet Dance Festival is a community celebration of dance, co-sponsored by the First City Players, Ketchikan Area Arts & Humanities Council, and Ketchikan Theatre Ballet. The mission of the Festival is to strengthen the dance community by:
1. Providing performance opportunities for both emerging and established dancers, choreographers, and technical theatre personnel in the greater Ketchikan area
2. Providing a venue for the works of adult dancers and choreographers;
3. Providing a supportive environment for a wide variety of dance forms, representing a diversity of cultures, and including works that are provocative and challenging;
4. Encouraging participation and appreciation of dance, for artists and audiences alike, by presenting a broad variety of dance forms.
