Art for Alaska’s State Parks, 2009.

Enter your work in the 2009 Art for Alaska’s State Parks- Alaska’s Top 30 Competition! There are 5 Award Categories, Grand Prize award of $1000! The call is open to oils, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, alkyd, tempera, mixed-media, pencil, charcoal, pastels, pen and ink! The Art for Alaska Parks competition is designed to celebrate the beauty of Alaska by showcasing representational artists and enhancing public awareness of Alaska Parks and public access areas. Subject matter for the artwork is to be representational in execution and depict the area or a subject from one of Alaska’s many State Parks, Marine Parks, Recreation Areas, Historical sites or state managed Preserves, Refuges or Critical Habitat Areas.
