March's Mainstay Gallery show, on display from March 6th through the 27th, features three giant puzzles created and assembled by sixty artists. Curator Diane Naab has selected three works of art to enlarge on a grand scale, cut into pieces, and distribute to local artists. Artists then take their piece, and re-create it in any medium they choose, from metal, to silk, to paint, to plastic mice! The only rules: Follow the lines and shapes on your piece, and make sure those edges will fit together! You won't beleive the variety within one work of art... and the underlying image? You'll have to solve the puzzle! The puzzles will be pieced together for the free opening reception on Friday, March 6th! We'll see you at the Mainstay Gallery, 716 Totem Way!
