Mainstay Gallery’s Call for Artists and Curators

Calls to Artists and Curators for a Mainstay Gallery Show are published in November of each year. We welcome group or solo shows by both new and established artists, as well as open call and invitational shows. The deadline for submission is advertised in our weekly e-mail newsletter, in our weekly arts report on KRBD, and forms are sent out in the November/December Newsletter, and are available on our webpage or at our offices at  330 Main Street. Submission requirements and entry forms are included in the Call to Artists and Curators. The deadline for applications falls at the end of February.

Applications are reviewed by the Gallery Selection Committee, a group of community members chosen by the Gallery Committee. The Gallery Committee approves the final selection of shows and assigns months for each exhibit. All applications are anonymous when reviewed by both the Selection Committee and the Gallery Committee. Artists and Curators will be notified approximately two months after the entry deadline.
