Schoenbar Middle School Percent for Art Call to Artists - June 2007 |

The newly renovated Schoenbar Middle School Percent for Art Committee, in conjunction with the KAAHC, the Alaska State Council on the Arts, and the Ketchikan Gateway Borough, is currently accepting proposal submissions for several art sites within the new facility located just west of downtown Ketchikan. The total Percent for Art project budget for the spaces is $108,155. Proposals by professional Alaskan artists of all media and styles are encouraged to submit. Walk through visits of the facility will take place from 10am - 11am on Saturday, May 12th and Saturday, June 2nd, or by appointment. Schoenbar Middle School is located at 217 Schoenbar Rd. The deadline for proposal submissions is by 5pm, Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the Arts Council, 716 Totem Way, Ketchikan, AK 99901.
